Sneakerhead spotlight: Raquel aka @ra_quel_quel
Question 1: What’s in your current sneaker rotation?
Raquel: If I'm being 100% honest, I'm usually in a pair of Crocs. When I do wear sneakers it's usually an NMD or a Jordan 1 Low, I've picked up a few different colorways recently.
Question 2: What's the last pair you UNDS'd?
Raquel: Jordan 1 Low "Beetroot"
Question 3: What is your fave sneaker you currently own?
Raquel: My Woodstocks by Nice Kicks x Adidas. I kept missing restocks so when I finally got the shoes as a gift months later, I lost it.
Question 4: What is your must-have grail?
Raquel: I really wanted these Jordan 11 Retro Low Pink Snakeskin (2013 release) but they only came out in GS sizes. They released a womens in 2019, but they don't compare to the 2013 version in my eyes. My must have Croc would be the Anwar Carrots x Crocs Collab.
Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?
Raquel: @devilssi1481 got me into shoes for sure. When we first started dating I thought he was crazy for having so many shoes. He's the real sneakerhead. But over the years I've gotten more involved in getting him shoes and getting more into shoes myself. Which in an odd way has also led me into collecting Crocs as well.
Question 6: What's something that most people don't know about you?
Raquel: I never met my biological father til I was 18 and my mother has been in and out of my life for as long as I can remember. I've moved around a lot as a child and have been through so much. My goal in life is to make sure my kids have a way better life than I ever did!
Question 7: What do you do for a living?
Raquel: I'm a mom!
