Sneakerhead Spotlight: Alexander AKA @eaglesandheat

Question 1: What’s in your current sneaker rotation?

Alexander:  Honestly, I don’t have a sneaker rotation. I wear a different shoe every day of the year. When you have as many shoes as I do you just playing picking the first shoe you see that you haven’t worn yet for the year.

Question 2: What’s the last pair you UNDS’d?

Alexander: Last shoe I UNDS’d was the Nike SB low X Supreme “black jewel” (2019) 5/20/22.

Question 3: What is your fave sneaker you currently own?

Alexander: My favorite shoe will forever be the Nike Air Max Plus “Sunset.” I own 8 pairs of them & my favorite variation is the 2013 pair which was an Undefeated Japan Exclusive.

Question 4: What is your must-have grail?

Alexander: My favorite shoe the Nike Air Max Plus is my grail. That’s why I have so many of them. But I only have 3 shoes on my grail list that I don’t own yet. Which is 1. The Lebron 9 Champ Pack (less than 2k pairs exist), 2. Air Jordan 16 Cherrywood. (They never retro’d) and 3. Nike Air Max 1  Master “White” ( Friends & family pair).

Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?

Alexander: For me the Air Jordan Bred 11s we’re the sneaker that got me into sneakers as a while. At that time, it was the best sneaker I’d ever seen.

Question 6: What’s something that most people don’t know about you?

Alexander:  Folks don’t know that I have 800+ personal pairs of sneakers. Also I grew up in the trenches & we had no money. So in a way I’m overcompensating buying sneakers & etc. since I couldn’t afford it when I was young because of my experience of having to wear the same shoes all year with holes in them. I’m constantly giving back to struggling families so children won’t have to share the same experience.

Question 7: (optional) What do you do for a living?

Alexander: Currently I’m a Sr. cyber security engineer and an insider threat subject matter expert.
