Sneakerhead Spotlight: Nita AKA @NitaBonitax

Question 1: What’s in your current sneaker rotation?

Nita: My rotation really varies on my mood. I love 3’s so I always try to throw them in there. My AMM3’s make it in there quite often. But honestly, I have been trying to pull out some sneakers I haven’t touched in a while. I brought out some GMP 7s and Hare 7s this past week, that I have not worn in years. Found a couple old pairs that were deteriorating and made a new goal for myself:  to wear things I normally don’t. You have to wear your sneakers! 

Question 2: What's the last pair you UNDS'd?

Nita: My AirMax 1 x Patta Monarch’s. Such a great colab. 

 Question 3: What is your fave sneaker you currently own?

Nita: Definitely my Black Cement 3s. They’re such a classic sneaker. So sleek and literally look good with anything. 

Question 4: What is your must-have grail?
Nita: So it’s a tie between Bordeaux 7’s and Wolf Grey 5s. I was actually recently able to pick up a pair of the Bordeaux’s thanks to JerLisa (@JerLisa_Nicole) and her show sneaker hunting that airs on the Caffeine app. 

Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?

Nita: What got me started was probably the feeling of unboxing a sneaker for the first time and feeling the excitement you get when you see a sneaker you like in your hand. I remember the pair that did it actually. It’s gonna sound weird but I was very pressed on those G-Unit’s as a kid. I begged my mom to get them and I just always remember the feeling when I actually got them in hand. I spent like an hour just staring at every aspect of that sneaker. 

Question 6: What's something that most people don't know about you?

Nita: I keep to myself so there’s a lot the internet doesn’t know about me. I am very artistic in all areas. I do graphic design, photography, I paint, I draw, I do spoken word poetry and I even used to play a little violin.
