Sneakerhead spotlight: JC aka @jcclaustro

Question 1: What is your current sneaker rotation?

JC: Just a bunch of Stan Smiths, FlyKnit Racer Blackout, 350 v2 Black Non-Reflective, 700 Azael, 700 Alvah, Travis Scott 1 Low, Mocha 1s, Shadow 1s, Chicago 1s, Union Black Toe 1s, and Not For Resale 1s.

Question 2: What’s the last pair you unDS’d?

JC: Shadow 1s! I got a second pair just recently. For those that have been following me they know I get 2 of everything if I could. But I am slowly getting rid of that habit.

Question 3: What is your favorite sneaker you currently own?

JC: It’s gotta be the Jordan 1 Mid Maison Chateau Rouge. I know it’s a Mid but I don’t mind at all. Overall, it’s an amazing shoe with great materials, colors, and patterns. It’s a work of art!

Question 4: What is your must-have grail?

JC: My sneaker grail would have to be the Freddy Krueger Dunks.

Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?

JC: It’s 100% my father. When I was a kid, I remember wanting those light-up shoes. My dad got them for me. Then he started buying me basketball shoes (Nike Flightposite 3, Nike Hyperflight, Nike Shox BB4, Adidas T-Mac 1s etc..). I really didn’t care that much on what I had on feet to be honest. Not until my first ever pair of Air Jordan 1s which were the 2013 Shadows. My dad got them for me for my birthday and that lit the fire for me. I used to buy all my shoes from resellers until I discovered the sneaker/foot apps. From then on I just kept buying pairs I could grab online. Mostly Jordans and Yeezys.

Question 6: What’s something most people don’t know about you?

JC: I love scary stuff. So I tried it on YouTube a couple of years back but I wasn’t able to sustain it. My attention span is quite short LOL

Question 7: What do you do for a living?

JC: I manage a couple of establishments back in my hometown and I’m also a Physical Therapist
