LeBron 7 "Red Carpet" History and Release Date Information
Roll out the "Red Carpet". The king has arrived!
I don't think theres anyone that wouldn't put this Lebron silhouette in their top 3 from the kings signature line.
A blast from the past, the "Red Carpet" Nike Lebron 7, has been confirmed to hit retailers later this month. LBJ first debuted this shoe in '09 at the Garden in a 9 point victory over the NY Knicks.
Even though the shoe is receiving a retro treatment, I've been told that it is almost identical to the original and the materials are amazing in hand.
Heres a little history on the shoe for the REAL sneakerheads:
Jason Petrie, the designer of the VII, utilized an Air Max unit with a rear twice as thick as the forefoot used on the VII. In addition, the Flywire on the upper panels reduce the weight of the shoe without compromising stability. The Flywire panel contains 23 wires, representing LeBron’s number, and the five grooved outsoles are a reminder that it takes five players on the court to win.
LeBron 7 "Red Carpet" features a white leather midsole and black ballistic material on the upper. Glass blue accents outline the Swoosh logo, eyelets, sock liner, and the LeBron logo on the heel. The chilling red accents add that pop to elevate this shoe from ordinary to extraordinary.
