Question 1: What’s in your current sneaker rotation?

Tony: Nike Air Max 1 EOI, Bordeaux 1, Frag TS 1low and some all white vans my family bought me for Father’s Day. 

 

Question 2: What's the last pair you UNDS'd?

Tony: Yeezy 350 onyx from the restock a month ago. Needed some black kicks and they fit the bill.

Question 3: What is your fave sneaker you currently own?

Tony: Air Jordan 1 NFR black and yellow. Been tinkering with trading them but I just can’t pull the trigger they are so nice!

Question 4: What is your must-have grail?

Tony: DB4 is my ultimate grail. I love 4’s they are my favorite Jordan. Uncomfortable as hell but my favorite silhouette. Whenever I die I will be buried in some 4’s!

Question 5: What got you started in the sneaker game?

Tony: Air Jordan himself put me in the sneaker game. When I was young I wanted to be like Mike but growing up being a military brat we couldn’t afford $100 sneaks. So when I turned 16 and got my first job back in 95 I saved until the Flu game 12’s came out and that was my first pair of Jordan’s. Then I bought the 13 low blue and black joints months later. That started my passion and have been buying on and off ever since. I left the game for a while when I got out the military in 2006, but around the Concord release of 2011 I started to come back. My wife tried to go to the store the day of release not knowing it would be gone and the Finish line employees laughed when she asked if they had any in stock. Wifey didn’t know they would be sold out because she doesn’t know or care about sneakers. It’s crazy cuz now any air max that comes out she wants. She loves that line. I love that she tried to surprise me, which was awesome but that situation caused me to get back in the game. 

 

Question 6: What's something that most people don't know about you?

Tony: I really want to be a mechanic. I want to work on cars and fix them up. It’s something I did while I was in Okinawa and I loved it. I really like working with my hands and building a car. In Oki It’s either your a drinker, gym rat, church goer, or auto hobby shop patron lol and that was me.

Question 7 (optional): What do you do for a living?

Tony: I work for the Department of Defense, and have been doing so for the last 14rs. I love the paycheck but if I could, I would definitely work on cars and own my own shop.
